Thanks for the kindness and prayers. i have come back around to reclaim Jesus in my heart. my separation is of Christianity and the man Jesus is what i have made a decision about. i study theology and have found the Jesus of the bible without the churches fundamentalism that i think is leaving many in bondage. I walk patiently and am trying to trust that God knows what He is doing, directing me to where He wants and as He wants. I feel I am not doing enough for Him but maybe this is a time of quiet growth or something. More just trying to get my mind to focus more and remember more. But hey, I'm not you, you're not me and we're not anyone else. Walk your walk ... unless you're walking away, continuously, on purpose. You can't run away from God and He'll never let you get very far.

At Scott: You may not be a practicing Christian (for lack of a better thought) but you were once His and He still has a place in you for He has never left you. Maybe you've just stepped back, or forgotten some, or fallen back or backslid or whatever, it doesn't matter ... God still has you :) If His music can still touch you, you still remember, and He is still calling. I don't have all the answers (that's for sure) and I'm not like a lot of Christians ... but I want to be His.

I found out about Margaret Becker from the Compassion Allstar Band concert. I loved this song and her others. I have been a fan since. I miss her music of the 80s. Need a time machine to make new fresh 1980s style music. she is awesome. thanks to God!

Scott.. I can never let this song or era of christian music go! I do understand not being a christian, though I still am a christian.. I'm not like the christians that I grew up with. There's a spirituality and life changing factor that "they" can never take away from me, and this is one of those songs that reminds me of that. When people ask me, "how's your personal relationship with Jesus?" I say.. exactly that..uhh."personal." so mind your bizz! God love'em! and God bless all of you!

This is one of my favourite songs of Miss Becker. I'm not a christian anymore but her sincerity and almost tear responsive singing still touches me in the depths of being. Bless you Margaret Becker for your open heart.
