This is cheap.... Marcia didn't sing the lead vocals on Rivers Of Babylon at all.... it was the one and only Liz Mitchell.... this is cheap and Marcia is degrading herself in doing this. She is NOT Liz Mitchell and she will never be! There's only ONE Liz Mitchell. And no one sings "Rivers Of Babylon" and all those other legendary Boney M. hits like the one and only LIZ MITCHELL. SHAME ON YOU MARCIA BARRETT!!!!! You'll never be Liz Mitchell!!! Marcia, sing "Belfast" and "We Kill The World" but leave the other Boney M. hits to Liz..... you can't do this!

She's singing in tune but you can still her the lead singer's voice in the background. That lead singer had a very distinctive voice so it doesn't somehow sound quite right.......

Slightly sad that she is simply singing over the original recording but her voice is still good and one of only two of the group who actually sang in the studio so she's not exactly ripping anyone off here. If she was just miming (lip sincing) to Liz's lead vocal then that would be a different matter altogether but this lady was a big part of this classic song. It is a shame she and Liz don't get back together, with or without Maizie as she really does take the mick by touring as Boney M, miming and taking credit for songs she never even sang on when they became famous and charted.

yes i am a fan of marcias but i do go crazy when other members abuse liz in such a way its clearly liz mitchells voice and marcia (singing badly) over the top of it wrong and disrespect i lost some respect for Marcia

@AFRICANBRO I know its true Iv been told off by people for saying this but anyone with half a head can hear that's liz Mitchell like had a unique voice thats who sold the records not any of the other members of boney m they was mega stars in Russia on there music alone half had never even seen the group before they performed there

@quakertownbob Yes you must have seen liz mitchell sing it live she is the lead singer of boney m marcia the backing singer (her in the video) is "singing" over the original recording so the full thing sounds strange at best x
