I was thinking about drinking something When I saw the legs that I love I bought a car 'twas a low slung thunderwing

It moved like the sun at the dawn

My little baby she's a tip-a-toed vamporater

She moves like the sun of the dawn

Ooh

Yeah, get it on

Do your thing,oh oh thunderwing

Do your thing,oh oh Thunderwing

Yeah

Get it on, right on yeah o

Well my wig-hat moves

And my spaceball boots bounce

When I hear the music I love

A soapbox cart was the start of my wandering

when I hear the music I love

Totally agree with that. One of my favourite Bolan tracks ever. What on earth possessed him to hide this fantastic song away on a B-side only Marc would know. This would have been a brilliant A-side, as a follow up to Children of the Revolution. Would definitely have given Bolan his 5th No.1

Brilliant. Had the good fortune to meet Marc in 1977 in Cardiff at the West coast Rock show at Cardiff City football Ground . Met Gloria as well had a good few drinks that day, Robert Plant was there also so was Bob Marley , No one can ever replace you Marc xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Timeless classic. Sounds as good today as it did when I first heard it on the B-Side of Metal Guru in 1972. I played that single till I wore it out!!
