Marc Bolan was a greatly underrated musician. But then again, he was much more than a musician. To be sure,some bands of that era are still around,most of them pathetically so,but I honestly can't picture him still in business in 2012. He wasn't born for that. He was one of those rare stars on the firmament that shone so intensly,brightly and briefly to forever leave a magical woe 40 years later to those who were fortunate enough to live through this time as teenagers.
