Solitude Sometimes Is

Lifeblood

Manic Street Preachers

Solitude sometimes is

The place that i would like to live

Solitude sometimes is

When nothing really seems to fit

If black were truly black not grey

It might provide some depth to pray

To black out all the worlds of men

And demons too but not even then

Solitude sometimes is

Solitude sometimes is

Life that no longer exists

Solitude sometimes is

When there's nothing truly left to give

If black were truly black not grey

It might provide some depth to pray

To black out all the worlds of men

And demons too but not even then

Solitude sometimes is

Drop your bombs on all i see

Leave this world alone for me

The thing i need to hide behind

It reigns beneath my holy skies

If black were truly black not grey

It might provide some depth to pray

To black out all the worlds of men

And demons too but not even then

Solitude sometimes is

Solitude sometimes is

Solitude sometimes is

That photo cover is so evocative, the blood over the woman's body, does it represent the humiliation and pain so many woman had to suffer through the past? I don't know what the intention was, will update.Edit: "The album includes a song about Emily Pankhurst ("Emily"), a leader in the British woman's suffrage movement" So yer.

Such a beautiful song and probably one of the most under rated. Love it!

Hope these guys stay together indefinately. They supported me (laterally) through so many rough patches (including the ordeal im going through now). I dare say they kept many a person from passing over into another world. the service they are doing is indispensible. Few bands identify with the seemingly endless pain I go through in life. With or without Richie, their one of the finest bands ive had the honour of discovering.
