Well Man in the Middle is a perfect example that he did sing lead! He also sang lead on Closer than Close and Suddenly. He was just a little more of an instrumental artist than a vocal one. I love his voice too and I would have loved if he sang lead vocals more!!! But if he wanted to be the leader so badly, then he could have made it happen. That's how i see it.

I remember when I was going into fourth grade in '07, my mom made me go to a different elementary school in another city starting the beginning of the school year. I was so angry and upset and sad about having to abandon my school. I told her on the way to school on the first day that this song described my feelings. It did somehow.
