Okay this is really pissing me the off about you guys in the comment section yelling 'IT'S NOT NEVERBLOOM AND IT'S NOT HEAVY SO IT'S SHIT'. Listen to some more variety of music instead of being a sheep and just listening to deathcore/metalcore. Don't get me wrong I love death/metalcore but I know that the majority of the subgenre is terrible. Listen to some black metal, folk, orchestral death metal (Fleshgod Apocalypse), and even normal death metal. Over the past year I expanded my music taste outside of simple chugging riffs and started listening to black metal, old school metal like iron maiden, death metal, and I even started listening to some math rock. If you compare all these genres to metalcore, you'd realise that metalcore is oversaturated. I liked Deathcore this year because it took some more elements from death metal and broadened the sound (slaughter to prevail e.t.c.). But saying that Neverbloom was SOOOO much better than this means that you clearly don't have a diverse music taste. Neverbloom was full of Chugging (from what I remember) and breakdowns, lets set this straight, breakdowns are just a lazy excuse to start a moshpit, and too many breakdowns is extremely tiring, this song didn't need a break down because the song was too slow to add in a breakdown. Breakdowns should only be added when the song is very technical and fast, because then the breakdown will actually feel like a 'break(down)' in the song. To me the two singles they've put out is possibly their best work yet, great song structure, technicality and loving the melodic side of their music. If you think this is them selling out you are incorrect, because they could've easily put out an another neverbloom and they would've been better off with just doing the same stuff over and over, but no these guys actually like to take some risks and create something outside of their comfort zone.
