One of my favourite Mississippi John Hurt songs.

I play this here on a Recording King ROS-616 mahogany guitar.

This is in C chord shapes but I have the capo on the 5th fret making it in the key of F.

Good kitchenesque acoustics and great playing + singing. How about full natural resonant acoustics with a performance in your bathroom?

That's ace, bro. Great picking. How do you find that Recording King?

One of my favorites too, Danny. I've followed you since the days of Diddie-wah-Diddle on that fat-ass Stella 12 string and you never let me down. Great sound and nice stick too!

Good, i have to listen again and hear how you interpret the lyrics. Trying myself to learn this tune, and btw i also have a mahogany guitar with similar sound.

Great rendition, made it all your own. Love the John Hurt version. BrownieMcGhee also did a later version in E which is really good. Just another version of the same piece. Keep it up, keep us happy and keep this stuff live. Cheers Pete
