Idk why, but i miss the Scene/Sk8er/Indie era. like shit, i loved that fashion and music. like, there still is Indie music and stuff but it isn't as good as it was back then. I remember this song from Shawn White Skate Park. The scene, indie, sk8er fashion was everywhere, I remember how it was even displayed in shows like 6teen n stuff XD

Listening to this song back during the summer of 2007 was probably one of the few happy moments for me during that particular time of my life (as it was quite a miserable time for me, due to me being unemployed for nearly six months back then).Of course, little did I realize at the time that little over a year later, in October 2008, I would suffer a nervous breakdown that would consequently keep me unemployed for over three and-a-year years (even though I did study Accounting at Seneca College during the interim from May 2009 to August 2010). Even today (in February 2014), I am now only beginning to slowly recover from this traumatic event in my life.In fact, in my comments which I made about this video back around 2007 to 2009, I also probably made reference to former Denver Broncos Cheerleader Renee Herlocker in them (as I was quite smitten with her back then). At least I now know that the stressors behind this were not only considerable social isolation, but also (at the time) co-existing w/a roommate who was a psychopath-narcissist bully as well (and someone whom I was not even on speaking terms with).(Btw, Renee Herlocker also happens to have her own channel on YouTube.)On a final note, I officially joined the Toastmasters (the well-known public speaking organization) back on Tuesday, July 9, 2013. Not only has joining the Toastmasters made me realize what it is like to be in a supportive environment for the first time in my life at nearly 44 years of age [as I never, ever received very much in the way of unconditional love and support from both my parents, as well as my older sister (who always made me feel like I was the black sheep of the family) while I was growing up], but also, in the seven months that I have officially been in the Toastmasters, I also have become more at ease when it comes to social interaction with other people in society nowadays (along with having discovered my natural speaking talent as well).And, ironically, it was another former Denver Broncos Cheerleader named Amanda Lofland who both inspired and motivated me to join the Toastmasters in the first place (especially when I ascertained on the Internet that she was engaged to be married on Monday, January 28, 2013). Even though I have a very controversial history w.r.t. Amanda Lofland (things got so bad between Amanda and me that Scott Bliek, the director of security for the Denver Broncos, even had to intervene on her behalf back on Tuesday, August 17, 2010), there is just something about her spiritually which appears to bring out the best in me, along with leading me to believe that I always unconditionally love Amanda Lofland deep within my heart, no matter what. [For the record, I did not even become aware of Amanda until February 2009 (as the 2008 NFL season was her rookie season as a Denver Broncos Cheerleader).]Lastly, I will just finish by remarking that not only does Amanda Lofland have her own video on YouTube called "cooking pasta.mov" (I have been on a silent quest in order to get more people to notice her video), but also, coincidentally, both Amanda Lofland and Renee Herlocker now reside in the Los Angeles suburb of Manhattan Beach, California as well.
