This is definitely not Mahalia Jackson. Also, she did not put the song on a record. In 1969 she released What the World Needs Now and Mahalia Sings the Gospel Right out of the Church. However, Mahalia did indeed sing Oh Happy Day at the 1969 Harlem Cultural Festival A.K.A. Black Woodstock.9 years ago
