Whenever I show any of Jason's music to friends/family, they almost instantly comment that it's "too depressing". In my opinion, sadness is half of being alive. If we never felt depressed, sour, resentful, etc, what value would happiness have? I'm no writer, and everyone knows these things already, but I seldom hear anyone else mention this.
