16 year old Utopian here! Just met Kasim over the weekend! It was so unreal! He signed my vinyl of Oblivion, copy of 3, and copy of All Sides! He also threw me a pick and called me out during the show 3 times :D I felt like I was going to faint!

Remember seeing this video (they showed it in concert, probably made it for the tour) when Utopia did the Ra tour (deluxe) complete w/ climbing pyramid, laser eye sphinx and Todd's ankh guitar. Top 10 concerts ever. BTW lasers were very expensive in 1976 for a band that weren't considered stadium rockers (i.e. major labels didn't invest a lot in the promotion) It'd be nice if someone could come up with an HD copy of this video. Utopians ru out there?

This was produced pre-MTV, shot in the barn behind Little Bear Cafe over a weekend. I think it was in 1977 (?). It was shot on with a portable video production rig (that was huge and was trucked up from New Jersey), then transferred to 16mm and shown during the next concert tour (Ra tour?). There was a woman with a real chimpanzee on set; but she felt her chimp was getting stressed out due to how long it was taking to get shots off...so she split.
