The song of great artist from my early childhood was written by Madonna and David Foster, released on October 23, 1995. More than 15 years is was one of my favourite songs.

The song became a big international hit, reaching #1 in Japan, #2 in Finland, Canada and South Africa, and #5 in Italy. It was certified Gold in the US and Japan. A Spanish version, called "Verás", appeared on the maxi-singles and on the Spanish and Latin American editions of Something to Remember; the lyrics from this version were written by Argentine singer-songwriter Paz Martínez. Junior Vasquez produced an uncommissioned and unofficial remix of the track.

In the United States, "You'll See" debuted at #8, and peaked at #6. With the single, Madonna became one of the only three artists in the Hot 100 history to have a hit peak at each position from #1 to #10; the others are Aretha Franklin and Marvin Gaye.[1] The Spanish version "Veras" became Madonna's first Latin hit, peaking at number 21 on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs. In the UK, the song was released in October 1995 and peaked at #5 in the UK Singles Chart. It is her 19th best selling single in the UK to date, selling over 302,000 copies. "You'll See" was also one of the few performances Madonna made for the music television program Top of the Pops in the United Kingdom. According to The Official Charts Company, the song has sold 305,000 copies there.[2]

In 2001, Madonna substituted "You'll See" for "Gone" at select US shows of her Drowned World Tour.
