The music is great cause its a great take off of many old bands, like the Monkees, etc., the lyrics ruin it and are too wordy, these groovy beats from the past were always simple wording and had great hooks, this does not, voice and lyrics do not go with this song at all, but I think Orbit got it right with the music. This could have been a hit if he used another vocalist or lyrics different.

You're absolutely correct - but listen carefully and this is basically a draft verson of an unreleased song - there's no harmonies or backing - and the production is exceptionally raw. However this is because it's an unfinished proto song - just a demo - and not the finished version (which I dont think was ever done) but what you say is fair comment

Catchy tune, but she sounds drowned out by the music. Her voice does not have the presence of any of the great female vocalists; she has always banked on her image more than her voice, I'm afraid. You can hear that in this song.
