Madonna didnf deserve an Oscar for acting, and the Academy would never give someone who has been in so many bad movies and with such a bad movie reputation a nomination. Never would happen. Shame she didnt write the song out of all her discography theres little she hasnt written or cowritten so she couldve had an oscar for something. I do think she was very good in a couple of movies, like A League Of Their Own.

I think EVITA is a based on a true story very amazing and beautiful and the Director Alan Parker should better do a movie like FRIDA or LA VIE EN ROSE that really shop in drama things that we couldt'n really see in this musical , even that i believe MADONNA deserved Oscar Leading Role Nomination

uhm, a bad actress wouldn't win the golden globe though. She was great in Evita and bad in other movies. Sneak eyes was great too. She wasn't bad at all in Desperatly seeking Susan too. I enjoyed her role in Dick Tracy and, OBVIOUSLY, what she did in her documentary, Truth or dare. It was not a movie and, yet, it's the best pop 'documentary' ever. That is brilliant, pure Madonna.

No she wasn't. Yes Evita is a nice movie and she did well, but as always she had many weak moments in the movie. For example the scenes where Juan is taken by the army or when she faints in church. Madonna is not a good actress and never will be.
