another classic! First record I ever bought as a kid (1980) was Madness Night Boat to Cairo for 99p and continued buying their Albums after that...Then acid house came along....

OxBlood66, if I had a hat it would be off to you for uploading all these fantastic tunes from the days of yore. I got this album 29 years ago yesterday as a lad in England and it seems even better now than it did then and it was great then. I have two sons (10 and 6) and they love Madness aswell, timeless classics. If you're ever in Florida...

I remember this stick the band got around the time of 'Rise & Fall', as some 'fans' didn't regards them as 'nutty' anymore and somehow wanted them to sound like 1979. 'Primrose Hill' is class, and showed then as now, the some people don't 'get' Madness at all. A great live version of this was recorded for 'The Tube' in 1983.

When ever I listen to this song, I remember when I was confined to my room with swine flu, listening to great music, such as this! This, and most songs from The Rise And Fall.

Brooklyn has a neighbourhood comparable to London's Primrose Hill. It is called Park Slope.

Top tune from a top band. Gawd! They don't write them like this anymore!
