However not to insult, the song always makes me think of a blue Ford Escort I owned that would always break down on the way home from anything, and my friends who would show with beers and pot, and help finish the trek. it is what it is & to each their own

The blue skinned beast is actually about the conservatives during the Falklands war, and how fighting over a speck of dirt is pointless, Thatcher was trying to hold on to the Colonial Empire which has since deceased, so dying over a piece of land of is pointless as no one truly owns the land, we may perhaps be temporary custodians, but the land will be there long after we're dead and buried, so why fight when there are peaceful alternatives?

I'm not trying to be belligerent but the Falklands War was the only solution to the invasion in my opinion. This just seems to Thatcher-bashing for the sake of it.

Isn't the blue skinned beast suppose to be maggie the ole trout, as well as the body bags coming back from the falklands. Madness are being sneering and sarcastic in their delivery with their three cheers. This ain't in favour of war you idiots, its against. I'll just put it down to the company!!
