Madeon - Pop Culture (Live mashup cover) by Ed Rollo video free download

My remake of Madeon's Pop Culture.

I treated this project like an assignment in Ableton Live. To understand the process of what it took to make Pop Culture. It's taught me a lot about using Ableton as a live tool and further as a production tool. Also I learnt about song structure/flow and the music behind this awesome mashup.

I play the solo through my new Virus Ti and I automate some effects on the UC33. The solo section is not as big as I would have liked, I just couldn't work it out. There are also parts where I improvised with the 39 songs to get it sounding right. I think I came pretty close.

Hats off to Madeon, I spent a couple months getting this together, who knows how long he spent creating it.
