The Psycho Cats take their revenge on this 32 track feast of mutant Rockabilly mayhem. The Psychobilly story began in 1980, when The Meteors reacted against the stagnant Rockabilly scene, emphisizing the uninhibited rebelious spirit that Rockabilly had been missing since it's mid-1950s inception. The result was amphetimine fuelled, full-throttle Rockabilly music delivered with Punk Rock aggression, bringing in themes of horror, voodoo, death and violence.

"Revenge Of The Psycho Cats" features some of the hundreds of bands that adopted the Psychobilly style over the genre's first 15 years. Included are promo videos of classic songs from some of Psychobilly's leading bands, including two Meteors indie-chart hits from the late 1980s, The Highliners' party starter "Henry The Wasp", and The Sharks' recent Screaming Lord Sutch/Joe Meek tribute "Jack The Ripper". Then there's a feast of footage from favourite haunts of the Psychobilly fraternity with The Long Tall Texans, The Pharaohs, Batmobile and The Guana Batz filmed at London's infamous Klub Foot, and performances from other dingy dives including The Charlotte in Leicester and Billy's in Stoke-On-Trent.
