The Otherside Remix Music Video was filmed in various locations for about a year and a half throughout 2010-2011. It is the duo's second video collaboration with long time friend and director Jason Koenig.

I hate how everyone critizises Macklemore for his songs like Thrift Shop or Can't Hold us. He has tons of great meaninful songs, probably much more than any rapper out there. But not everyone has the potential, looks, talent, or position to climb the social/media ladder. Population outweighs position. So many more are just stuck on bottom regardless of effort. I love how people with success give the motivational speeches....which is easy from the sky even more so if you did in fact come from the bottom. But there's not enough room up there for everyone. Acknowledge that! Success in society is the same as succes in nature.....the most equipped succeed. ONly the roles are reversed those that would survive in nature tend to be the least to survive in society. Also those that oppose the modern societal standards of "wanted" or "worth" have no say so in it, so they are stuck coping with it until they die.9 years ago
