I've played basketball for a year and a half so far. I used to get made fun of and bullied every day at gym for not being able to do a layup or never making a shot. But I trained and trained and when I couldn't train I watched videos, I studied other players and how they moved. For a whole summer I'd walk two miles in the blazing heat every day just to play for a couple of hours. When I wasn't on the court I was in the gym. All I thought about was basketball. And when I returned to school, those people who called me names and picked on me.... They couldn't touch me. I'm not the best, and I train harder and harder every day. I still have that same excitement every time I hit the court or enter the gym.
