This is utterly lame compared to the guitar dominated version.

This would have been much better in the Star Wars Holiday Special than Starship.

My favorite M track. ....every space is filled with sound. And no.,this is not disco, this is pop music.

Robin Scott was a folk singer who put out an obscure ( and now worth about £500 on vinyl ) album on Head Record in 1970, similar story to The Korgies being members of folk prog band Stackridge, none were New Wave Pop wonders, just old school trying something different to make a few quid

Yep - this was a remake for the album New York, London, etc. The two original versions (recorded a couple of years earlier and released as a double A side single in the UK which failed to chart) appeared in the US-only issue "Pop Muzik". Note the original Satisfy Your Lust contains the line "Next thing you know we're F**KING on the floor" - no wonder it didn't chart !!

@MaxieBear17 - I think M was very popular when Pop Muzik came out and had a pretty solid album there but it didn't fit in with the direction music was going back then. It was pretty much a novelty act and Robin Scott failed to take his music in the direction New Wave was headed, which he should have done. I remember looking forward to the second album Official Secrets but it wasn't as solid as the first, and Official Secrets had nothing really that stood out on it. To me this album is a classic.

So this came from the original album? I guess they may have replaced tracks 5 & 6 with the single versions when they re-issued this album as "Pop Muzik".
