George Lynch is absolutely awesome... However, "Mr. Scary" was recorded with 24-seperate guitar tracks in the studio... Read the liner notes from the "Back For the Attack" album/CD/cassette. Not to discredit his abilities in the least, but that is why you are "perceiving" so much delay/reverb in this video. Still one of the best guitarists from the late '70's to early to mid to late '80's.... except for maybe CC De'ville....LOL!!!

"Too much delay " Yada. Yada. So what? George can bring it IMO. He's probably played this a thousand times and looks for different takes on it. I dunno. But, I love the filthy little groove this gets into a few times. Nasty. I think this band would be great as a 3 piece without the singer. Let George fly. I always thought Lynch was in mediocre bands that seemed to not be a good fit for him. I dig his tone phrasing. Not many are good at phrasing. George is when he lets loose. Yeah, a lot of delay here. I get it. But I dig it anyways. I appreciate how he doesn't get into an endless "see how fast I can play" borefest. All I know is that this sounds great cranked up!

Is George affected by focal dystonia? I think there's something absolutely uncomfortable about his playing (That thumb going crazy on the guitar neck, for example). Plus, the gloves are often used by musicians who suffers from it... :(
