yeah, It was deep, but if I had to go through it again, I would gladly embrace it. What you have been through, survived, only makes you stronger. I am forever greatful to good music, a set of good "homies" (some dead), and living each day like tomorrow is not going to materialize.

Wow hard to believe I was dancing off this song in 1971 as a gangbanging Crip back in Killa Cali in the 9th Grade. My how time passes. This was her greatest hit, God Rest Her soul. The late '60's to the end of the 70's was the greatest era of Black Music. Everything else that rap uses is sampled from that period. It was great, but yet some troubled times surviving the streets and that era of black pride and not having an identity crisis like youths these days. LOL! Dr. Young
