I think boy george has a really nice voice, but when Luther sings, he makes it seem effortless, it just flows.

This is nice! Love both. For some reason Boy's voice always reminded me of Smokey's-Velvety-Smooth. Luther-Miss You!

Boy George was good. Has a nice voice but as others said he was mismatched. This isn't Luther showboating because he could have really blew Boy George out of the water. Luther is very creative with his runs and things. He could have easily gotten a standing ovation if he would have used everything he kept it very tasteful. I wish Luther would have sung it alone though.

Boy George can flat out sing and did a great job here....but...Luther is G.O.A.T. when it comes to soul music...if the galaxy held a singing contest, Luther would represent earth...

Wow! I honestly think they both sounded great! Haha. I love how at 2:39, when Luther did his little Scat, George looks up at the ceiling, like: "Damn. I can't beat that."But he sounded amazing in his own soulful way as usual:)

Luther was effortless. George seemed in awe of him and so uncomfortable. Why didn't he sit down beside Luther? I've heard Luther showboat and this performance here is quite tame in comparison.

Boy George had started doing drugs at this time. If he hadn't, he'd probably have been more able to stand up for himself and take the seat a bit more. In Boy George's autobiography, he candidly describes that while Stevie Wonder was charitable at these singing sessions (taking place at the same day), Luther Vandross used BG as a mop. Detestable.

One was proud and honest with himself, the other hiding and fearful. They both sound great though.

Somebody should have told Boy George to take that seat because standing up will still not give him an advantage over Luther. Luther just destroyed him effortlessly. Even though it wasn't a competition.

I wonder if that was Luther's mom @ 3:03?
