that cultish feel of Spooky... the angelic vocal harmonies, the lachrymose key changes - not for being sad, but poignant - the gossamery voices drenched in sound... these elements play together so distinctly... though each being discernible, I've every time conceived the lot of them as this unitary, three-dimensional, quivering thing - a strange alchemic plasmatic cloud with its own hues, temperature and frequency... dive into it - mmm, and peek at the world from the hidden dimension. actually dunno if this album can be counted as anything else. it's its own thing.
