Artist Biography: It was during the last months of 2008 when LUMINE CRIPTICA arose from the entrails of darkness.

His goal was clear: to combine the extreme facet of his influences with elaborate but melodic vocal and instrumental arrangements.

Listening to their music we can find references to various Metal sub genres, from Melodic Death Metal to Black Metal. The combination of the singer's melodic vocals

supported by the contrapuntal choruses and guttural voices, end up creating a unique style.

Achieving all goals that were raised independently, they released their debut album "Fading Into Darkness" in April 2010. The Local and International Press pointed it as one of the finest Gothic Death metal releases of year.

LUMINE CRIPTICA was selected to participate in an album to celebrate the living spirit of Ronnie James Dio, It's version of "Don't Talk to Strangers" has the soul of the original version but imprinted with the fury and melody that define the band.

During 2010 the band was touring all over Argentina presenting "Fading Into Darkness" with remarkable repercussion that allowed it's fan base to grow fast. And not only their powerful electric live performances captivates the audience, but their acoustic shows in theaters and radio shows too. They bring the chance to fully enjoy the essence of the band and the beautiful voice of its singer.

In early 2011 the Singer left the band for personal reasons. His place is taken by Ines Vera-Ortiz, who adds her powerful voice and his impressive stage presence to the proposal.

To introduce this new formation, the Band recorded a Live DVD at one of the most important venues in its Home Town, giving a mind blowing show. This consolidates LUMINE CRIPTICA as one of the most important bands of the genre.

Currently the band is presenting it's First Live DVD "Echoes of a Night Mirage" and touring to promote it.
