Allen MacLennan, in about 1934 would be the first time I heard her sing this song. I will never forget it!

I heard her sign this live at Berea, Ky back in the mid 1980's Scotty had died, and she was then an older woman but her voice sounded just like it sounds here. Two of her old band menbers played along with her. Just beautiful

The steel guitar player is "Little" Roy Wiggins. He recorded with almost every member of the Grand Ole Opry from the 1940's through the 1970's. Others copied his distinctive "Ting-A-Ling" style, but no one could match him. He combines the old "Dobro Roll" with both the melody and rhythm line at the same time. He was doing that on steel guitar years before Chet Atkins did it on standard guitar.
