@exboxer42 I see what you mean, but thats just why, everyone wanted him to be his father but he wanted to be able to sing his own songs not just hanks To quote daddy i need you tonight 'i dont wanna make a living on the ones my daddy had' people would leave his earlier performances when he tried to be different and that started him on a hell of a trail and from what I understand one day the doc basically said, your living a lot like hank williams, an if your not careful you'll die like him too

He is better than his dad ever thought about being. If he had not changed he would have been in the shadows of his dad all his life. Bocephus is in George Jones and Conway Twiltty league good. Matter of fact Hank Jr. is the best ever in country.
