Equipment-

Drums: Tama Starclassic, Spawn acrylic snare, and Zilgian cymbals (all used for $1300 total).

Mics: Audix FP7 (7 pack, $300 from Sonic Sense online, I don't use the snare mic) + two SM57s on the snare top and bottom.

Cameras: 1) 16 MP Canon ($140) and 2) An old Kodak with a busted display and noticably lacking picture quality and frame rate, but it works.

Interface: Tascam US 1800 (18 channel, 96 kHz/24 bit, $199 from Sonic Sense online).

Audio Software: Cubase LE5 (free with the interface). Great product.

Video Software: TrakAxPC free trial (free forever). This is a great, free video editor. I highly recommend it, as I tried several free video editors.

I interface with an HP computer. I would be happy to answer any other specific recording questions, as I had a lot when I first wanted to record.
