At the age of 12 the "Eugene's Trick Bag" solo at the end of Crossroads inspired me to beg for my first electric guitar for Christmas. At the age of 43 this performance fills me with despair for how little I have accomplished as a guitar player and inspiration to try harder and do more all at the same time. Every time I listen to this, and I have listened to other people play it too, I'm amazed at the articulation, clarity and the life that Tina brings to this classical piece. Too often I hear botched or lifeless phrases in the interpretation of classical sheet music, but that is definitely not the case here. This is one of those songs I'll soon be listening to in its entirety in my head, lol. Awesome work!
