You think this is crap? That's an opinion and I have to respect you're right to express it. However, this touches a lot of us like nothing else.It is the story of me, and so many other people in America alone. Until you've been beaten while helpless and hopeless, until you've seen your mother beaten well, say you don't like the song but it's not crap.In the '80s where and when I grew up this was almost accepted. So there are a lot of us out there not showing our sweet side.Careful what ya say Ass!

If this song hits you right in the gut, please check out The Bomb in the Brain on YouTube. It may change your life. It will change the way you see the world forever. It explains why you, or he, or she doesn't always show your sweet side. Epic tune by one of our very best.

thank you. I was 9 the first time i tried to get out. 31 years later i'm still here. Nightmares of the past and all. I feel like you wrote my story in a song. My step-sister that was part of my nightmarish past sent me this. She said it was me and now that we are trying to pick up the pieces, She is the only one I show my sweet side now. I wish i could meet Lucinda, just to say thank you.
