The new single by Lucenzo after the worldwide success of this monster "Danza Kuduro" (with Don Omar). The track is full of melody, happiness, simple and perfect to be sang and/or played on a beach with a group of friends! Author, composer and singer, Lucenzo, a french and portuguese descent, is a passionate of music, starting piano at 6 and singing at the age of 11. Today at 28, Lucenzo is a well-know Latino and Lusophone artist who bathed in the world of Kuduro & Reggaeton since his childwood.

Hi all,I see there's considerable debate of whether Spanish and Portuguese are really that similar. I would like to add my two cents coming from a native English speaker that studied French, Spanish and Portuguese all as secondary languages. From my ear, there is considerable differences audibly between Spanish and Portuguese. In fact, I would argue that sometimes the "r" sounds from Portuguese seems like it sounds closer to its French counterpart than it does for Spanish... sometimes, that is. Also, the "e" sounds generally in Portuguese might have some similarities in the Brazilian version to that of Latin American Spanish, but the European Portuguese sound as if they are a more stressed version of the "e" in French. Yes, all three are from the same root Latin, but let's not try to act as if Spanish and Portuguese are entirely mutually intelligible. They simply aren't and simply do not sound that close beyond the occasional word they might use that's kind of similar.Just my two cents coming from a speaker that is neither Spanish nor Portuguese. Now, back to this amazing music :)

I knew it was a portuguese song because I am fluent in Spanish and can read and write in Brazilian portuguese (which means I also know this is European Portuguese due to the use of "tu" instead of "você"). While I can sympathize with the frustration of native speakers in regards to people thinking it's Spanish, what you must understand is that for people who speak neither language, they can not tell the difference because they don't know what sounds like Spanish and what sounds like Portuguese due to the fact that they are very close to one another even though they are two completely different languages. While it's fine for native speakers to pipe up and clarify the language in the lyrics, there's no reason to get worked up over it, as it'll just make you look meticulous and high strung.Just my two cents =)
