I am so fucking angry with myself, right now! I am one of the biggest 1980's freaks of all time. Born on 2/11/80, I felt like I got cheated by fate, but to miss out on something because of my own ignorance is something far worse. I regret to admit that I did not go "balls deep" into the Furs catalog until 1998, and boy do I feel like a mega douche. I needed this album, this band, and this song more than ever in 1994. The shit I was going through was epic! My mom was a mega cunt, my step-dad was an abusive mega- douche all-star, and my teen years where completely fucked-up due to shitty parents. I'm older now, and I take responsibility for my own shit, so don't get me wrong here. All I am saying is the emotional attachment to this shit should have been EPIC! But the great thing about life is I continued to live in spite of wanting to end my life multiple times, and I am now capable of enjoying this masterpiece.

Actually, funny story, I worked the tour of the furs and bunnymen in 01, Standing there eating a sandwich with Richard Fortus, he and I were discussing the Bunnymen, and how they are one of his ABSOLUTE fave bands. I mean, wow, he was thrilled to be on tour with them. I asked him if they would do any LSL on this tour, as they had done mixed sets before, he said, yeah, prolly not. Then during soundcheck, they actually played half of this song, and then half of Fall on tears, only half... Then NOTHING that night, kind of a ... Almost, premature orgasm or something. They did great shows that tour, I just wish they would put out new material, last from the furs was late summer 1991, and the LSL , a few years later, now, still touring, but lets have some new stuff fellas.

I loved the second cd more as his brother was not on this one. It is a shame that more was not released by them. I guess money and a return concert meant more to him then releasing more great music. I loved the Psychedelic Furs in the 80's but loved this group more.

Weak vocals? Give me a break. I just saw these guys in a month ago at the House of Blues and remember this song when it first came out in the 90's. He did a great job here and also at the HOB. He's been rockin' for 30 plus years! This song soooo brings me back.
