Here's Freddie Mercury's Love of my Life played in an easy arrangement for guitar. A few mistakes here and there - but you get the picture

For a master lesson in how to play this song, see troubleclef's version.

As my name implies, I'm a bad guitar player and am frequently in awe of the the incredible players on YouTube. I always wished there were more simple guitar vids for me to learn from. I figured I'd post one and if others did the same, there would be some vids more to my level.

Tab is on my web site: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B2OQWv_wsNd8cEk1SXl2RjVPMGs&usp=sharing

Excellent. Your arrangement is great. I am aware that this is not exactly the same as the original, but still a great job. If you want your piece to sound more like the original, try using a capo on the second fret. :) Nice job man.

where is your voice to explain the chords?

The actual song starts in D Key then transposes to A. You're playing on the C key. It's fine. Just put a capo on the 2nd fret, then you can play the song with the actual song's tune. Your arrangements are indeed very good here. A +

There is a video out there somewhere where Brian May says put your own stamp on stuff, don't get obsessed with copying people exactly, Do your own thing with your own style....So for all you obsessives chill out and enjoy other peoples versions of how they like to interpret there idols.... personally I think it's great how you have arranged it ..........;-o) PS the majority of Queens stuff in the studio is tuned down ......especially Bo Rap......

Personally I like this better than Brian May version. It doesn't match the vocals in some place but I cut out some stuff on tab and it sounds awesome Thanks. :D

@BaddGuitar ...three years ago, your video and tabs taught me how to play Love of My Life. It amazes me how people like to remind you that it's not tabbed absolutely correctly. And like you say, it you studied it enough to notice the difference then great. Anyway, thanks (again) for teaching me this lovely interpretation of an all-time classic.
