Heard on the album "Black Coffee" which was released in ten-inch format in 1953. Recorded in in April and May of the same year in New York City.

The music being originally composed by Walter Donaldson and the lyrics by Gus Kahn. The tune itself introduced in the Broadway play, Whoopee!, which opened in December 1928.

@PaiintDriP The original was part of the Broadway play "Whoopee!" sung by Ruth Etting in 1928, whereas Peggy Lee's take was released as part of the album "Black Coffee" in 1953. Another version of the song which I am rather partial to includes Lester Young and Teddy Wilson.
