"I'll Buy You a Star" is my favorite JM album. With Nelson Riddle and his Orchestra, great songs and Johnny in wonderful voice, you can't get any better. I really didn't understand this song in my 20's or 30's, but now that I'm well past 50, and hurt by love one too many times, I finally realize what it's saying. You can also hear JM's operatic training ("And This is My Beloved" is another one). The more I listen to Johnny Mathis, I am really amazed how GOOD he is.11 years ago
