Even though it's been a long road from the 10 to 20,00+ years of indigenous people living here, the Spanish and Russian presence, the independence of Mexican and Native American period (Mexican Alta California), the US takeover, and the huge number of people from all over the world who now call it home: "California baby, you don't know who you are... trip and glide with the angels..." Great work on that video...you really nailed the mood of the song. I always loved this album, too. They had a bit of a mini-comeback a couple of years later when they went with a stripped-down, guitar-based sound with "Sweet FA", but I don't rate that album nearly as well as this one...and I loved all their earlier stuff, too. I saw them live twice and count both shows as being among the best concerts I've ever been to.

Hot Trip To Heaven is a good album but I haven't heard anything from them since that album. I also haven't heard Peter Murphy's Unshattered album.
