Incredible intro!! I had heard the Lou Reed let the guitarist and Bass player go because he felt they were upstaging him. I'm not sure if this is true or not, but it does sound plausible. Back in the day, when this played on the radio it, the intro officially began at 3:21. At least that's all they played of the intro.

Have the album since 1978 , tape and the CD. That awsome intro was created by Steve Hunter. Saw Lou live back in the 80`s but with a diferent band . Listen to this album almost everyday...A masterpiece in my book
