What a wonderful song. That piano riff is beautiful. If anything, Lou shows admirable restraint to the loser who violently and painfully shortened the life of one of the 20th century's greatest artists.

kant's catagorical imperative: Act only according to that maxim whereby you can, at the same time, will that it should become a universal law. Valarie clearly thinks it should be universal law that killing is ok.

She was mentally ill. She certainly shouldn't be considered a hero, and people holding her up as such are sick. That said, I DON'T BELIEVE we should execute mentally ill people, as the song advocates.

Hilariously inappropriate comment. I don't know if you have since listened to Reed's guitar playing with the Velvets, but that solo was kind of a nod to the way he use to play guitar solos...loud bone crushing feedback.

Que canción tan monotona, la voz es tan plana. y la letra suena a venganza....

The most disgusting part is that you have feminists actually calling Valerie Solonas a hero. That is fucking despicable. She doesn't even deserve to be called a human being, much less a hero.

Andy Warhol, David Bowie, Lou Reed, Brian Eno, Brian Ferry, Marc Bolan, Syd Barret... that generation of fucking genious.

@genericusername337 Well, Andy didn't lock the doors to his apartment in NYC. He thought no one would ruin his special place. She brought a gun. The next time you watch Sesame Street, imagine someone with a gun. It's over, it's ruined.

@genericusername337 I don't think Lou & Andy left on good terms...so for Lou to be defending Andy in such a way, well, I think it speaks to how much Lou did valued him.

@genericusername337 He rhymed "vial" with "vile." And she didn't kill Andy, she did worse. She killed the Factory. I wish I could've killed her myself.

'From inside, her Idiot Madness spoke' I think this is pretty good lyricism, though I hate the part 'I believe that being sick is no excuse'... As a song of feelings of deep personal resentment, retribution for the nadir the ineffable tragedy of Solanis and SCUM... you can hate the song, but it makes an impact... )O(

Hilariously inappropriate guitar solo.

@Hister333 no I'm aware he can be a jerk, I've seen his interviews, and I know he loves his apathetic junkie vibe, but making a song like this is some kind of closure...

I know the song expresses are horrible sentiment, but I still appreciate it for the sheer emotion Lou expresses. Lou really...how shall I say it..."disliked" Valerie Solanas.
