Reminiscent of David Bowie's "Let's Dance" project - hey we can't be serious all the time.

"New Sensations" is a better 80's Lou album than "New York?" I guess everyone's entitled to their opinion.

I think 'New Sensations' was my favorite album by Lou in the 80's.

This video is great. *Lou Reed - I love You Suzzane.* From the '80s to you. Lou tears it up jumping from the stage to the dance floor. 3:16 He could dance.

Notice how Lou took his shades off earlier? I think, if the dancing was really Lou, they'd have stayed off. In fact "no sunglasses onstage" was a rule Lou set for his band on the "New Sensations" tour (along with "no drugs or alcohol for anybody"). Much easier for a stunt double if all he needs is a wig and sunglasses. (BTW, I love the 80s look of "loose-fitting shirt tucked into tight, high-waisted pants on a slim person") As MrLouRules pointed out, the sober Lou Reed became a very physical person, with Tai Chi and weightlifting. The dude made a whole album expressly for exercising to. Circa "Set the Twilight Reeling", Lou was looking pretty "cut". But this was early in his sobriety. I honestly don't know, but I know that underrating Lou Reed has always been a mistake. NOBODY who followed Reed in the 1970s would have guessed he'd live to be 71.

if someone said I couldn't dance I'm not sure this is the way I would prove it to them...

With Lou's love of Tai Chi I would have thought it was him.
