THANK YOU, Lou for such a great rendition of MY song LOL Just wish you had the opportunity to sing MY other song, Oh Susannah LMAO Seriously, tho, it warms my heart that much more, makes me smile that much bigger, as it comes to me from my oh-so-special sweetheart!

Interesting that even if you haven't heard a Lou Reed song, it still sounds familiar to you. Why? Because most pivotal bands were inspired by his sound...

i think he got booed allot because he was ahead of his time. He was always composed while getting booed too. so cool.

I'm glad SNL honored Lou Reed tonight. I love this song. I know a few cool Sue's, one of whom I used to associate with this song. Here's to Lou Reed. His music is very pertinent to the meaningful nature of our lives, in many ways. Thanks SNL for making me aware of this performance. And thanks for posting this. Cheers. Good vibes.** * *

M wouldn't do that again. Not after the backlash in Scotland, huh?

Was gooving to "My Love is Chemical" around the time of this performance. Worst time for music since the 50s was the mid-80s until Slow's grunge influenced sound crushed synth pop and hair band garbage. Lou managed to still sound cool, even though he had cheesy synth sounds in his music too - he had to, it was the time.

Made it worth watching tonight! In the next decade or so there will be a lot of clips like that going into breaks as the most of the greats were born in the 40s.
