He came along in the mid 1960's in my world--a super entertainer. Danny Brennan and Joe Rumore were DJ's at WVOK in Birmingham and hosted the Shower of Stars. Acts such as Paul Revere, The Cowsills, Neil Diamond and many more on the show. Lou was so sting in the South that he was the featured artist. When The Raiders came of Lou went on and the place came alice with cameras ......a human block was used to keep people off the stage. Just nuts.. and you know... just the greatest guy on earth and one power house of an entertainer.

Folks, take notice, he slips into a false setter ....NOT many can really sing like that... James Brown had that kind of gift too! Lou Christie is amazing! He is has a very RARE style and voice!

See his expression at the last moment of the video. I watched the full show. Lou was wiping tears from his eyes as he left the stage. He must have been overwhelmed to know that his music is still appreciated and not forgotten. After all these years. he still had them in the palm of his hand.
