I was a friend of the band and recorded their first ever gig at the George and Dragon Folk Club in Sunderland on 5th November 1971 on my mini cassette recorder. They didn't have a band name then so they called themselves B.S.K.D. They gave me the Apple master of the lst album but unfortunately Kai left his master on a bus so I gave him mine. Wonder if he still has it!

This is fantastic ~ many thanks. Is this the only vid of Longdancer? They were short lived but were all great songwriters (not just Dave who only wrote one song on the 1st album). This one's by Kai Olsson. Read at the time that Rocket put alot of money into promoting them, but only Dave became famous.. Still play the first album (vinyl) which is one of my favourite 70s albums. Rare footage like this is gold! (similarly with Fairfield Parlour). Cheers
