The original version was written for the 1936 musical 'Come Out of the Kitchen' by Al Goodhart, I believe. Baldry re-issued the tune in 1972 produced by Rod Stewart and Elton John.

I DID have that album, but my son (bless his pointed head) got all my LPs courtesy of my husband (bless etc.). Now I have no other LPs. They were put in a little spot on his property that have probably been warped. SO MANY GOOD MEMORIES ON ALL (ALMOST ALL) and I miss them and the feeling they gave me.
