There was a time when kids were actually given enough credit to watch such "mature content"...nowadays, kids watch dumbed-down crap like Dora the Explorer which is purely an exercise in political-correctness. Oh my deeply-buried goodness!!! I used to watch that show as a toddler and I remember when I saw this very episode and listened to Liza's Copacabana... I loved her! it was simply fantastic!!!! I miss the times when the artists were real talents... oh, those times...!!

This song's lyrics are so cinematic - they call out to be DRAMATIZED. Not sure if this did the trick for me since it's sleazy enough that the Muppets would NOT be involved, in a perfect world. Also irritated with Liza's vocals being about a half-step below the key during most of it. Love the dancing though, despite the half-hearted attempt at lip-synching. I am in grief at the wasting of her talent through self-destructive abuse, as with Judy before her.
