Yuck this guy just talks nonsense! The kind of person you get away from because he just bores you with his rubbish talk! Poor James having this weirdo for a brother!

I love Liv Taylor (what a nice guy) - love James even more! However the only thing that puts me off Liv is that he looks just like Jeffery Archer - poor bloke!

@ejgiv Seems to me J.T. was a complete artist from the beginning. Great writer and singer. Virtuoso guitarist. I can't think of anybody, before or since, who compares well, especially in terms of talent. And I'm not particularly interested in his politics or sexual proclivities. I enjoy his music. For me he's the king of the singer-songwriters. He basically ushered in that whole genre. That's innovative enough for me.

@ejgiv Try playing one of his songs. He's not a strummer.

James Taylor is one of the best guitarists out there--unbelievably great fingerstylist.

He is completely right! The base of James powerful music is his outstanding guitar playing.

Liv is a great person. The love he shows towards JT, and many other things, speaks highly about who he is. A great person.

I agree w/ Smilesawaityou! A bang on analysis of how James, the notorious introvert and iconoclast, managed to pull us in instead of alienating us ...those who have crossed the ring of broken glass for the past 4 decades have never been short changed. Anyone who has seen him live knows his ability to play with his VOICE, not just his guiatar - and to bend it in complex tapestries with his crack back up singers, is nothing short of transcendent ~ may he "never grow old...never die young" ~ ~ ~

not in reality -in her own mind. She's mega-famous and crass beyond words - that does not a legend make. Bone up on some real music ''n get back to us. Meanwhile, we'll enjoy this incredible stuff.....

James was Jesus? - James was MLK? - No, James was a person who was lucky to live in the time he lived and was fortunate enough to have the Beatles producers listen to him. Hey - if you're going to talk about James, why not tell us about his heroin addiction, his arrogant past, whatever...

James does not talk about the creative process and having followed him and his wife, sister and brothers for 30 years, this is some really really great stuff - must have made James crawl in his skin to hear this stuff!

This fucking guy should have been an actor - he takes his brother so seriously, its absurd. Dude, you're talking about, your forking brother, not Jesus Taylor. Get real.

Besides, Britney Spears is a legend, already. Sad, but reality.

It's interesting to hear James cover "On Broadway" on the new disc since it's practically Liv's version.
