"Nothingness"Like a descendant, I drifted far, far and wideIsolation, separation, nowhere to hideMaybe there's somewhere I can goWhere there's sunshine and the wind won't blowNothingnessAll I have to feel is my lonelinessNothing in the attic 'cept an empty chestAnd nothing last foreverAlthough there are many, I look for no one, no one but meI search for things that are taking me high and far out of reachBut this is the place I will call my homeI live with the lies and the fear all aloneNothingness, All I have to feel is my lonelinessNothing in the attic 'cept an empty chestAnd nothing lasts foreverOh NothingnessAll I Have to feel is my lonelinessNothing in the attic 'cept an empty chestAnd nothing lasts foreverNothingnessLonelinessEmpty chestand nothing lasts foreverNothing lasts foreverNothing lasts forever.

That whole Gen - X depression wave was sweeping all genre's of music at the time... That's what really killed Cobain. If u listen to bands from this era, u can hear it LOUD & CLEAR ...We hated the Baby Boomers and all the problems they left us with, that we had to sort out!! To this day I'm always so intrigued at how Gen - Y kids actually like their parents and shit..(weird) ... Guess WE did good!! Too bad they don't have any original music, but I feel like I'm in good hands for sure :)

Bummed this is a remix. The video is a little different and you don't hear Doug's bass line as much. Good thing I've got the CD. Going to listen to that instead.

They played Cult of Personality on Head Bangers Ball one night and it turned me on to these guys. (Like 1989 I think, my god I'm old)Being a huge Alice Cooper fan (of his early work) I really like musicians that shuffle off hard genre classification and just make the music they want to make when they want to make it.

Living Colour, a gem amongst a pile of stones. Who thought a black rock band play thios kind of music? Rock at its best!

Sad they never became mainstream, but happy at the same time. True fans get it.

This song is amazing...the real version...not this inappropriately upbeat sounding version with a electronic beat replacing the drums

Okay, not the agressive social anger of my fave, "Cult of Personality," but I could see why they had to modify their sound for the new corporate music age. I cosign, most underrrated band ever. Love ya ILC!!!
