It's interesting how they present themselves as an "artistic integrity" act who are mocking commercial, sell-out, pseudo-feminist pop culture, but they actually end up turning GUYS into objects of ridicule by dressing them up as the corporate pop puppets the song mentions. That suggests to me that it was just more proto-feminist, bandwagon-hopping bullsh*t. And you thought that they were faking; that they were all just money-making - or at least trying to do that.
