Funny thing watching this, the singer gets older and older through all these years, yet the girls he hires to dance and sing to his music get youger and younger year by year!

Dorothy, you couldn't be more right. Engelbert is still one of the best singers/entertainers ever. I've had the opportunity to see him in concert twice over the past two years. He is still amazing and an inspiration. He may have lost a little in his voice since his younger years, but he was so much stronger a singer than anyone else in the biz. He still rocks the house. Love this guy to pieces.

We all soon learned what a crooked outfit that is. The deal was set long before Enge entered the picture. He was asked by the BBC to represent his country, what was he supposed to say, no? Instead he cancelled or postponed numerous venues, to go over to Baku. had a song written for him. He got to practice last, and scheduled to sing as one of the first, out of how many entries? The voting for all those countries, was over the quickest I ever saw, and of course we know well where Enge placed. Of course the rules are that the UK could not vote for him, and the U.S. is not part of Eurovision, ~ thank you Lord ~ Nice of you to bring it up again, like that was the most important venue he had. Engelbert has played Westbury, whether you call it Westbury Music Fair, or Westbury Theater, on Long Island, NY, for over 40 years, and is a sell out, for every show. He is booked solid every year since he came to the U.S. ( and Canada ) and has dates through May 2015 already. You caught the action, in this video, you have to be kidding, bits and snips, is what it amounts to. He is 78 years old, and can sing rings around any other performer today. So do us a favor, don't bother to 'catch the action' your work is like an amateur attempt.
